ISAAC-Singapore takes its obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”) seriously and this (“Policy”) is intended to help you understand how we manage, protect, process, and otherwise handle your personal data. This Policy is supplemental to and does not supersede any other PDPA terms you may have agreed to or been informed of in the course of interacting with us.
If you provide someone else’s personal data to us, please ensure that you provide them with a copy of this Policy and obtain their consent to provide us with their personal data.

What Is Personal Data?
Personal data means any data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access, but excludes “business contact information” as defined in the PDPA.
Where you are a corporate entity, personal data may include information about your directors, officers, employees, beneficial owners, partners, members, authorized signatories, representatives, and any other related persons.
Examples of personal data include names, contact details, identification numbers, photographs, voice recordings, video images, and medical records.
How Do We Collect Personal Data?
We may collect personal data in the course of your engaging our services; your providing us with information or documents; your corresponding with us via email, telephone calls (which may be recorded), letters, fax, in-person meetings, or otherwise; CCTV recordings; your attending events we may host or organize (which may be photographed, recorded, or filmed); when you sign up to a newsletter or mailing list; when you submit an employment application or a third-party does so on your behalf; from public sources; when you submit your personal data to us for any other reason.
Why Do We Need Your Personal Data?

If your personal data was provided in relation to an employment application, we may also use your personal data for processing and assessing your application; performing background checks; verifying credentials and qualifications; obtaining employment references; and any other purpose in relation to the above.
Who Do We Disclose Your Personal Data To?
We may disclose your personal data to experts, consultants, or law firms assisting with your matters; agents or third-party service providers who provide administrative or operational services (including courier services, telecommunications, information technology, payment, payroll processing, training, market research, cloud or physical storage, archival, client support services); in connection with professional indemnity policies; to our professional advisors (including auditors); to relevant authorities, professional regulatory bodies, or law enforcement agencies; to the extent necessary to comply with any laws, regulations, rules, or directions; where permitted under law, external business and charity partners in relation to our promotional events and seminars; and to any other person to whom you authorise us to disclosure your personal data.
You understand that in order to conduct our business operations more smoothly, we may disclose your personal data to third-party service providers or other third-parties that may be situated outside Singapore, and you consent to such disclosure. Such third-parties would only process your personal data for one or more of the purposes stated above.
